Description

This is an excellent combo specimen and a superb andradite. Sharp, glossy, dodecahedral crystals of andradite up to 1.4cm across are sitting on a bed of dark green biotite crystals. Light green, gemmt epidote crystals are present too and a cluster of green, gemmy diopside crystals is also lying down on the biotite. A fantastic and high-quality specimen from this skarn zone in Afghanistan.
