Description

Pyrite from this old, closed, classic locality used to be common but now it is not. Even back at the times when it could be found, decent collectible specimen were too rare. This pentagonal dodecahedrons were a little bit more rare and usually small. This piece is a superb and ultra rare example of pyrite dodecahedrons from Greece. It is a beautiful cluster with golden color and excellent luster. The back is contacted/broken-off as is typical of this material. The crystal size is enormous for this crystal form from the locality.
