Description

Only a few minerals are missing to complete the mineralogy of the mine. The is better in person but it is not aesthetics that matter here. Anyway, it is nice quartz crystal on a little bit of carbonate/sulphide matrix. The quartz is partly covered with iridescent crystals of jamesonite. A few groups of bournonite crystals are present with some minor pyrite and golden chalcopyrite. A carbonate is present too, I am just not sure which one it is. A crazy combo piece of extreme rarity from a classic and closed locality. From my personal collection as all pieces in this auction are!
