Description

Specimens with large crystals of azurite like on this specimen are extremely rare from Lavrion and have only been found once, in 2017, in a small find. This piece hosts blue crystals up to 3cm across, among the biggest we have ever seen from Greece! There is a little bit of green malachite, possibly mixed with some brochantite adding to the association of this great Greek azurite.
