Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Madem-Lakko Mine, Cassandra Mines, Aristotelis, Chalkidiki, Central Macedonia, Greece
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.1 × 3.5 × 2.7 cm
Description

This is a highly desirable combination from this closed, classic locality and although we have seen it before, only a handful of specimens had truly been good combo examples. This is one of these few good ones with golden, lustrous, cubic little crystals of pyrite, gathered in the centered of fine pink, rounded aggregates of rhodochrosite crystals. A classic, very rare and excellent specimen from Chalkidiki.
