Description

The alpine type quartz specimens from this alpine-type locality are quite rare and amethyst is very hard to find compared to the more common, smoky quartz. Scepters are popular but even harder to find. Double scepters such as this one are multiple times more rare with no more than 10 good known examples. This is an excellent example of a double scepter, though not top in quality it is beautiful and highly collectible.
