Here is an excellent example of the rare olive-green baryte from Lavrion, a variety of the species that is highly sought after by Lavrion collectors for its rarity. The piece hosts the best possible quality crystals for this type from Lavrion, is rich, double sided and well sized. On a few small areas, there are also traces of reddish color due to iron oxides. A highly collectible Greek baryte specimen.
