Description

This piece comes from a little known and recently published in Lapis, locality in northern Greece that has produced alpine type quartz. This is a very aesthetic example of quartz from this unusual locality. There is a radiating group of crystals leaping out of a whitish quartz section. The crystals have a smoky tone, possibly mixed with a discreet amethystine tone if I my eyes get it right. At any case, it is a fine and beautiful alpine type quartz cluster from a rare locality for this type of quartz.
