Description

This is one of the more important, sizable Greek smithsonites that I rarely auction. The piece is a fine and unusual, well-sized smithsonite specimen. It has several layers of smithsonite and each one is a different color, indicating a variable composition. The colors, range from blue-green to brownish and white and are mixed together on the surface. The piece has good relief and can be displayed on more than one side. It was found in 2013, in the Hilarion mine and was among the top pieces of the find. From my personal collection.
