Description

This is a large and superb example of the species from Greece. It hosts dozens of sharp, dodecahedral crystals of andradite with light brown faces with dark brown edges. What makes this one stand out from its competitors is the fine luster. These garnets are wonderful but usually are dull with medium luster at their best. This one comes from an older find (80s!) and the crystals have a much better luster on them! From my personal collection.
