Description

Probably one of the best garnet specimen from the locality, from my personal collection. This locality has produced grossular, mostly in tiny little crystals no more than 3mm across. Some of them have some gemminess and an brown to green color. However, the coverage and luster are usually not great at least not all of these aspects are ever combined on one specimen. When I was still keeping a Greek collection, back in 2010, I was looking for a decent specimen from this locality and this one came up I got it in the spot. It shows fine luster, good coverage, sharp, gemmy brownish crystals and the crystal size is excellent for the locality especially for the crystal size/quality ration. So here it is now!
