Small cabinet (7-10 cm)

8.1 × 7.4 × 4.5 cm
Description

This is a fantastic example of the so called (by local collectors) silver smithsonite from Lavrion. Although it is similar to other specimens from the locality it begs to differ for various reasons: 1) It is undamaged, 2) It shows the highest possible luster 3) It has the best possible translucency 4) it hosts both botryoidal and rounded crystals of smithsonite 5) It has good contrast with the dark gossan matrix 6) It is obviously beautiful 7) It is larger than a miniature!

As with all specimens from this fixed-price page, there is a video of this specimen available so please contact me to send you the link.
