Description

This is a fine large smithsonite from the Hilarion mine. It was found in 2014. Some areas underneath the smithsonite host blue-green adamite and there is some visible adamite too. The specimen is not flat and has good relief. The color ranges from bluish to gray-purplish. The white mineral on some areas is aragonite. An important large and excellent smithsonite specimen from this ancient, classic locality.
