Small cabinet (7-10 cm)

8.5 × 7.7 × 4.7 cm
Description

Here is a different, unusual smithsonite compared to what we usually see from Lavrion. The smithsonite is crystalline, not just botryoidal. There is more than one type of crystallization on the specimen with rounded crystals on one side and a bowtie like growth on the other side. Smaller vugs on the specimen are also packed with crystals of smithsonite. An old timer, as we have not seen anything like that from recent finds.
