Description

This piece comes straight from my personal collection. I cherry-picked it among dozens of others in Tucson, a few years ago. Here are the reasons I picked this one in particular and not another specimen: 1) Although the crystal is thick, it shows an amazing gemminess, far better than I can show at the photos, I can send a video on demand to demonstrate that. 2) The color which is also something I cannot show at a photo, is a very intense wine-red color quite unique, unusual and the best I have seen in spessartine. 3) The luster is the highest possible. 4) It has sharp, clean stepped faces while other pieces had a few rounded areas with not so clean faces. 5) It is a complete all around 360 degree floater. 6) I love the patterns and growth though this is a common characteristic of those. 7) It is in an excellent condition with only one broken face on what I use as the base to display it, but it reveals a hole near the core of specimen which adds interest and can be taken as a bonus.
