Description
Locality:
Adami #2 Mine, Plaka, Lavrion District, Attiki Prefecture, Greece

Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.3 × 4.7 × 2 cm
Largest Crystal:
0.50cm
Description

Wulfenite specimens from Lavrion have become extremelly hard to acquire nowadays. I am told that the spot they come from is extremelly dangerous and could collapse at any time so nobody digs there anymore. They have always been rare, even at the times when collecting was still possible. This is a decent example with a largest crystal of 5mm across, associated with mimetite.
