Description

Sharp scalenohedral calcite crystals, with a beautiful coating of quartz, mixed with some iron oxides, giving a yellowish color with brown-orange blushes. There is damage on the specimen with several broken calcites but many are intact and the aesthetic are still there, at least on the dispaly. This material is extremelly rare and very old so it is not possible to acquire similar pieces nowadays, unless you are lucky and find an old Seriphos collection! Unfortunately, collecting in Seriphos is strictly forbidden nowadays.
