Description

This is the finest example of gemmy garnet that I have ever seen from northern Greece. The crystals are sharp dodecahdrons with very good luster on garnetite matrix. The color is olive green and color zoning is evident! The gemmines is unusually good and Greece is a locality with only opaque garnets known to most of the collectors out there!
