Description

Bronzite specimen composed by interpenetrated enstatite crystals of the variety bronzite, with good brassy-golden reflections and nice a silky lustre. According to the associated label from the Istituto Geo-Mineralogico*, it is from Kraubath.

Collected before 1926. Ex Ennio Contarini, #2330.

*The Istituto Geo-Mineralogico Italiano was a dealing company created by Eugenio Bazzi (1892-1929), to whom Bazzite was named. This was active in a short period of time (from 1915 to 1926), so it is a piece collected before 1926.
