Description

Two couples of staurolite crystals with 60° twins on {231}, the classic St Andrews crosses. They are associated to lustrous red crystals of almandine garnet of rounded aspect. Two representative pieces of this Georgian locality. They are from the Gerard Vogel collection and were acquired at the Tucson show in 1984.
