Description

Aggregate of pale spodumene crystals that reach 65 mm in size in a quartz matrix. Intense orange fluorescence under long UV light. It is associated to cherry red crystals of rubellite.

Collected by Manfred Fabig on June 25th/1975 at the Haapaluoma pegmatite in Finland, that is not a very common locality in collections.
