Description

A piece of metallic digenite and green massive or fibrous malachite forming a cavity spotted by elongated crystals of demesmaekerite that have been replaced by yellow kasolite. Rich specimen and with good colour contrast of this typical pseudomorph of kasolite after demesmaekerite.

It was in the collection of Joseph Lhoest, a Belgian doctor who worked in D.R. of Congo for many years and it is well known for his articles about Congo in the Mineralogical Record.
