Description

From the type locality, dozens of hairy yellow thin prismatic crystals of swamboite-(Nd) on a carpet of orange lustrous crystallized curite, and sharp bright canary yellow or grey-brown sodyyite with very good definition.

It was in the collection of Joseph Lhoest, a Belgian doctor who worked in D.R. of Congo for many years and it is well known for his articles about Congo in the Mineralogical Record.
