Description

Yellow to pale cream coloured tabular crystals of vlasovite in a matrix of framboise red eudialyte. The vlasovite crystals present a rim of white gittinsite, from which the Kipawa alkaline complex is the type locality. Under short UV illumination vlasovite is yellow while gittinsite crystals display a strong whitish fluorescence.
