Description

Rounded polished piece of Baltic amber from the classic Vistula deltaic sediments of Eocene age (43-45 MY). It includes a complete and well preserved insect of a Diptera Order, Nematocera Suborder, according to the associated label from the collection of Dr. Bob Janssens, specimen #1593. In perfect condition.
