Description

Reddish quartz specimen of almost 0.5 Kg that completely replaces a floating radial aggregate of aragonite crystals. These aragonites formed a typical group of prismatic crystals with a pseudohexagonal section, that is a result of cyclic twinning.

Acquired in 1988. Former Jan Sibtsen Collection #1565.
