Description

Brown crystal of almandine of well-defined faces and edges with moderate lustre and in very good condition, just minor matrix indentations. The crystal is a floater of net rhombic dodecahedron {110} form with edges modified by incipient trapezohedron {211}.

Rare and of good size for the locality specimen, it was collected in the late 1990’s by a local collector.
