Superb classic specimen of bright chrysoberyl crystals in a sixling cluster created by repeated penetration twinning on {130}, that form an radial hexagonal aggregate. The vitreous lustre is very intense, partially gemmy and of honey colour. It is a floater sample, completely free of damages.

According to the associated label it was extracted in 1980 (probably from Espirito Santo?), and passed to the collection of René Virlet in 1996 from “Jeanine B.”
