Description

Sharp lustrous pseudo-octahedral, dark green gemmy crystals of libethenite on a recrystallized matrix of quartz, typical from M'Sesa. Very uncommon locality in collections.

It is from a small collection of reference pieces, specimen N°31, from Mr. Robert Verdoodt, who was working in the laboratories of Union Minière du Haut-Katanga and evacuated to Belgium after the beginning of the Congo crisis in 1960.
