Description

Big specimen featuring hundreds of densely packed, gemmy, blueish-green willemite crystals of superb lustre, forming a continuous crust. They are associated to tiny calcite crystals that fluorescent red under Short wave ultraviolet light while willemite fluoresces blue. Different nests of fibrous blue plancheite are well dispersed on the willemite crust. It can be displayed at both sides, this specimen is far better on the hand. A good classic specimen from the collection of Joseph Lhoest.
