Big representative specimen from the Kamiaba region, a very remote locality close to the border with Zambia. It features deep red rhombic dodecahedral crystals of almandine and golden lustrous cubic pyrite, imbedded in a matrix with abundant prismatic crystals of black striated arfvedsonite, with minor white quartz. This material really hard to see in collections, that has never been abundant at all.

Acquired before 1977, it is an Ex Gabriel Fauvart specimen.
