Description

Clusters of dozens black lustrous crystals of braunite-II, that reach 8mm, with horizontally striated tetragonal dipyramidal faces, associated to red andradite crystals and rounded aggregates of a white fibrous unidentified species, probably oyelite. Braunite-II specimens are very rare in the market.

Acquired in 1996. Ex. J. Muizebelt specimen.
