Black lustrous rhombododecahedral crystal of magnetite with striated faces from the Grace mine, a classic US locality. In good condition, it is almost a floater piece, with just a flat tiny contact to the matrix.

Acquired at the Tucson Show in 1984 by Dr. Gerard Vogel.
