Description

Thick lustrous crystals of rutile of a deep red colour and clear striations. Some are twinned, and they are clearly oriented on the hematite crystals. Recently it has been exposed the topotactical relations of these specimens, explaining that they are pseudomorphs, where the original ilmenite crystals where replaced by oriented hematite and rutile (Rečnik et al., 2015).
