Description

Finely layered sulphide gel of globular FeS2, probably pyrite, in a matrix of light green fluorite and white blades of baryte. The surface is slightly polished in a curved surface that enhance the laminar distribution of the layered melnikovite.

Acquired in 1984 by Gerard Vogel to the company that still exploits the Clara Mine (Sachtleben).
