Description

A good size specimen featuring a drusy matrix of white to transparent quartz crystals richly coated by rounded pyrite crystals of very good lustre and golden colour. They have some greenish reflexes and the bigger pyrite crystals are formed by curved cube and octahedron faces, while the smaller pyrites are mainly octahedral.

Rare locality specimen that was bought in 1983 by Marcel Cromphout (specimen, #1890).

However, the specimen presents rests of an older label at the rear that cannot be identified.
