Description

Deep red lustrous trapezohedral crystal of almandine with good definition of stepped faces, imbedded in calcite. It is completely free of damages and displays perfectly.

Collected before 1960 at the Kamiaba region, a very remote locality close to the border with Zambia. Uncommon locality in collections, that has never been abundant at all. Ex Robert Verdoodt.
