Description

Very aerial arborescent leaf of native copper, with tiny pieces of metamorphosed basalt matrix. It has an original alteration coating, and we keep it like that. We specially notice the locality, Kondopoga (Karelia, Russia) which is poorly represented in collections worldwide.

The specimen is part of a lot we acquired from Johann Muizebelt, who get them in 1993 at the Ylamaa Mineral Show (Finland) from a Russian geologist.
