Description

A branch of petrified wood replaced by white natrolite and orange transparent calcite rhombohedra with very good luster. The calcite crystals are strongly fluorescent in orange colour under UV light. The external bark of the branch is also preserved in good detail.

Found in 02/2012 at the Mount Elgon (Uganda) by the Dutch collector Bert Biemold.
