Description

Superb fibrous crystals of glaukosphaerite of a nice clear pistachio green colour associated as globular aggregates on matrix. This is one of the hardest species to obtain for Congo collectors, cause a very limited amount were collected more than 50 years ago, initially described as “Kasompiite”. This "Kasompiite" specimen was found by Rene Virlet, a Belgian colonist in Congo who travel back definitively to Belgium in 1968. Ex. René Virlet specimen.
