Description

Polycrystalline aggregate of lustrous brown cassiterite crystals associated to minor quartz. It is formed by crystal faces or contacts with the matrix, but no damages. A perfectly located sample that was collected by Mr. Robert Verdoodt. He was working in the laboratories of UMHK in Lubumbashi, and travelled back to Belgium after the riots and the declaration of independence of Congo in 1960. Beautiful example of an uncommon locality. It comes with a handwritten label, with number 42.
