Description

Group of black-metallic, well defined elongated crystals of acanthite, stacked in thick growths on a corroded quartz matrix. This specimen is a classic example of a paramorph of acanthite after argentite. The specimen is highly lustrous, well crystallized and free of damage.

Example from the 1980’s, with a label that reads that is from the gang Schildbach, Level -120m.
