Description

A classic piece from the type locality area, with hundreds of white alstonite crystals showing typical pseudo-dihexagonal dipyramids (formed by repeated twinning) with the dipyramidal faces strongly striated horizontally.

Acquired in 1977, the specimen is from the stock of Georges Vanacker* (BE).

*Vanackerite (from Tsumeb) is named after him.
