Description

Very rare golden greenish coloured crystals of volborthite, an uncommon vanadium rich mineral in Katanga, well crystallized on matrix, associated to minor black heterogenite.

Specimen #61 from the collection of Eudore Toussaint, a Belgian Chemical Engineer in the D.R.Congo from 1948 to 1971.

It comes with the original old wood socle from the collection.
