Description

Well crystallized and lustrous cerussite associated to some altered galena from Sidi Amor ben Salem, a Super Classic Tunissian locality This mine, that is scarcely represented in modern collections, produced impressive and highly sought-after anglesite crystals at the end of the XIX Century, but cerussite is yet much more rare, and only a minor amount of crystals are known.

Ex. René Virlet specimen. According to the associated label he obtained it from the University of Liege, via Mr. Delferrière.
