Description

New find of interesting pseudomorph of gypsum replacing halite crystals with hopper habitus. The ternary axes of the cube are evidenced the hopper habitus of the previous halite crystals. In very good condition.

This floater piece is from a yet undisclosed locality in the Molina de Segura area, Murcia (Spain), that is rich in clay and salts deposits of Miocene age.
