Description

This fluorite was self-collected in 2009 at the Lhamda Mine, near Touroug, Er Rachidia, Morocco. It is a group with a dominant elongated cube that is interpenetrated with another cube due to a {111} twin. The specimen shows a light-yellow rim, included by lustrous pyrite crystals. The faces show interesting etching patterns and stepping growth surfaces.
