Description

A rare pseudomorph of shattuckite after very delicate blades of baryte from Shangulowé. The crystal cores are clearly darker than the surface because they are covered by a thin layer of gelly chrysocolla. Some small rounded radial aggregates of cotton-like plancheite are also present on them.

Collected before 1968 by Martíal Borzee, a Belgian colonist to Congo.
