Description

A big size specimen of a breccia covered by a crust of multi-layered aragonite. It is cut at two faces, and partially polished on the aragonite crust to expose the aragonite layering. A classic piece from the Zellacher Höhle cave in Matrei (Tirol, Austria).

Acquired in 1971. Ex Gerard Vogel specimen.
