Description

A group of black rhombohedral crystals of a carbonate (calcite?) with fibrous and spheroidal malachite completely replaced by jelly blue chrysocolla and hydroxides. The matrix is very porous and the specimen very light, typical for the locality.

Uncommon and well catalogued by Achiel Moors, a Belgian colonist in the D.R.Congo from 1957 to 1972, who collected personally this piece.
